The NecksGen REV is the newest offering in head-and-neck restraint technology

Safety is extremely important—especially when it comes to your head-and-neck in a frontal or offset impact. The folks at NecksGen recently released their newest version of the head-and-neck restraint—the NecksGen REV.

The REV is a compact, lightweight restrainst system designed to be extremely effective at controlling the head and neck in crashes where the driver sees big negative g-forces. There are a few things that distinguish the REV from its predecessor and other devices on the market.

Quick-Release Helmet Hardware
The REV features a unique single-hand helmet attachment system. Simply push the tab into the latch on your helmet. It’s simple, quick, and easy to do with a helmet on.

Emergency Pull
Simply pull the optional pull tag for a quick disconnect. The latching mechanism is spring-loaded to quickly eject the tab from the latch.

Padding
The shoulder and collarbone padding provide added comfort to the unit.

Made in the USA
The NecksGen units are designed and made in the USA, using the latest carbon-fiber composite Dupont material. Not only are these materials lightweight, but they are extremely strong.

SFI 38.1 Certification
All NecksGen head-and-neck restraints have passed the mandated SFI 38.1 testing procedures. The NecksGen REV head-and-neck restraints have surpassed the company’s expectations in test results.

Winglets
Large adult units can accept 2- or 3-inch seatbelts. Small units accept 2-inch belts only. The wings aid in keeping your harness in place under impact—even in multiple impact situations where the belts could loosen.

Tension-Neutralizing Tether
Using a proprietary single tension-neutralizing tether (TNT), the loads under impact are distributed through four different load paths. This unique system offers an equal distribution of forces under impact. This system also offers a full range of head motion and side and angular impact protection.

Low-Profile Design
The low-profile design makes ingress and egress in an emergency easier.
